TOG foundation
Fondazione TOG is a non-profit organization (Onlus), established in late 2011. It is headquartered in Milan, Italy, at Via Livigno 1, where in 2023 it established a large (over 3,000 sq. m.), integrated, state-of-the-art technology center to provide the best specialized care for children and young people with severe neurological disorders.
Neurocognitive rehabilitation offered to young patients with Central Nervous System injuries aims to stimulate their personality development, and enhance their abilities, despite the complexity of the pathology.
TOG represents an aid to public health care because it is a private center, born out of philanthropic endeavor, but it treats completely free of charge. Each child has an individualized rehabilitation pathway that is structured according to each child’s life needs.
The TOG Center is located at 1 Livigno Street, corner of Jenner Avenue, and houses many services and activities open to the local area in addition to rehabilitation rooms.
These include a swimming pool for hydrotherapy, a Fablab for digital fabrication of aids, an outpatient clinic with medical specialists to oversee the complexity of aspects of pathology, a room with immersive technologies and one with Nirvana technology; and then again a conference room and spaces to be used to support school frailties. Finally even a Bistrot, run by Chef Carlo Cracco’s Maestro Martino Association, created with the aspiration of being a place open to the city, but also a concrete possibility to foster the social and work inclusion of TOG children.
Together to run
Together To Run is a project that affects and embraces the entire support network of TOG Foundation. Families, caregivers, volunteers, businesses, and dedicated supporters.
They all run together for one goal; to give a better future to children with neurological diseases. It is a journey made up of stages. Some exhausting and exhausting. Just like the path of care that TOG’s children face from year to year, from day to day.
Running WITH them and FOR them has always been the meaning of this annual event that has grown with us and wants to grow more and more.
