As we know, nothing in life is guaranteed; things can change in an instant. And for the most part, we actually have very little control over anything external.

But there are certainly some things we can do to help ourselves. We can plan for a bright future and for a successful race in Milan.

In order to shift things in the direction that you want over the coming months, you might need to take a look at your current lifestyle and habits. There is probably some low hanging fruit where you can make some change for the better.

As humans, we are never done, we are never a complete piece, this is part of life. And whilst that might cause some irritation initially, it is actually incredibly fulfilling and exciting to know we can keep improving day by day.

Below is a “cheat sheet” of areas that you can explore that might need a little bit of work, and in doing so, will create a happier healthier you. And by doing that, will create a better runner.

Your task now is to rank the above from 1-5; 1 being your best and 5 being your worst. Then have a look at what is actually happening in your 5, this is your low hanging fruit area.

Gradually making some changes in your “5” will move you in the right direction to be a better version of yourself.

You might just be surprised at who you can be in 6 months. Go!
