Come 30-35km into a marathon, it is likely that you will be a little fatigued. Your mind might start trying to convince you to stop. This is super common and quite natural. And it is not really the time that you want to start negotiating with yourself about why you are running Milan Marathon.
Therefore, I suggest that you take some time over the coming weeks, ahead of race day, to think about why you are running. What does running mean to you and why is that? These are perhaps not the easiest of questions to answer. But the good news is that there is simply no right or wrong answer. It’s super personalised and specific to you. No one can take that away from you.
